REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION
Republic Day of India was celebrated on January 26,2013.
The Children presented a short programme on 27 January 2013 to commemorate The Republic Day of India.
India won its independence on 15 August 1947, after which the process of preparing a constitution was commensed. The Constitution of India was passed on 26 November 1949 in the Constituent Assembly. It was adopted on 26 January 1950 with a democratic government system, when the country became a republic in the true sense. Every year 26 January is celebrated as the REPUBLIC DAY.

The students of Class- V, VI and VII participated in MURARIPUKUR SCIENCE FAIR at Ultadanga, Kolkata.They made different models and explained to the visitors in a convincing manner.They won FIRST and THIRD prizes for their models and performances.
New Year has always been a time for new beginnings and fresh starts. The joyous occasion of New Years calls for celebrations and great cheer. Looking back and being thankful for the wonderful memories of the previous year, and the hope for beautiful times ahead is what the New Year is all about. Celebration of NEW YEAR 2013 of Familia includes Prayer service, outdoor games, common lunch etc. We wish all our friends, sponsors, and well wishers a very happy NEW YEAR 2013.
