The jute craft has developed in India centering the Eastern India. Bengal reveled in sacks and saris made of jute were usually used in the Middle Age producing maximum jute globally. Export of jute sacks, as an essential commodity, started in the 18th century.

In Familia children are provided with life skill training also. Two days Jute Craft training programme was organized on 24^th and 25^th September 2023. Mr. Sanjay Baroi, a social worker from Thakurnagar, 24 Parganas(N) trained the children to make virous products with jute.

End of two days of training all the participants were provided with a certificate.
